Charles Kenneth Turner, Sr.

Charles Kenneth Turner, Sr.-age 90 of Maynardville passed away peacefully at his home, Thursday, September 11, 2025. He enjoyed fishing, farming, and watching the Dodgers play baseball. He loved winning at cards with his kids, grand kids and great grand kids. Preceded in death by his wife, Kay Jessee Turner; his parents, Siegel and Grace Turner; brothers, Robert Turner, Harold Turner, Jack Turner; sister, Peggy Carter.

He is survived by his children, Mike (Debbie) Turner, Kenny (Denise) Turner, Eddie (Melanie) Turner; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.

Dennis Ray Davis, Sr.-age 74 of Mascot passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Willow Ridge Center. Coy Robert Graves – age 88, went to be with the Lord, peacefully at 1:15 pm on Tuesday, September 9th at his home surrounded by his family. He was saved at a young age.

Janice Gayle Munsey – age 80 of Maynardville, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at her home. She was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Anderson County. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wayne Munsey; parents, Fount and Jean Haynes; sister. Betty Haynes Shumate; brother, Dale Haynes; brother-in-law, F.T. Munsey; grandson, Tyler Wayne Munsey.

Josephine Nicely-age 78 of Washburn went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Claiborne Medical Center. Preceded in death by her husband, Glen Nicely; son, Glen Nicely, Jr.; daughter, Elaine Nicely.

She is survived by her daughter, Joann (Greg) Noland; son, Kyle Nicely; daughter-in-law, Ann Nicely; loving boyfriend of 25 years, Ernest Foust; grandchildren, Mitchell, Daniel and Grace Nicely; great granddaughter, Elaina Nicely and several other great grandchildren.

Harley Wayne Cassidy, 66, of Maynardville, Tennessee passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends. He was a member of Alder Springs Baptist Church. He was an avid hiker, Loved God, and his family.

Mary Raley Jones

Mary Raley Jones, age 78 of Maynardville, TN, peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025, in the comfort of her home, embraced by the love of her family and friends after a week of heartfelt goodbyes. A devoted Christian, Mary found strength and solace in her faith throughout her life. For the past two years, she bravely faced the challenges of being bedridden following a second stroke, with her loving husband Dale Jones caring for her tirelessly and compassionately until the very end.

He was a member of Warwick’s Chapel Baptist Church; U. S. Army Veteran; Retired employee of Greyhound. Preceded in death by Reverend Conley Austin Collins and Margaret Lillian (Thomas) Collins; brothers, John, Jerry and Robert Collins; sisters, Shirley Collins, Mary Rose Tolliver; Gaynell Cox, Nancy Carter; niece, Temeriah Collins.

Dennis Ray Dyer

Dennis Ray Dyer-age 77 of Luttrell passed away Friday evening, August 29, 2025 at his home. He was a member of Willow Springs Baptist Church and a U. S. Army Veteran of the Viet Nam War. Retired employee of Scripps Networks. Dennis was a devoted husband, father, step-father, papaw and a friend to all who knew him. Preceded in death by parents, Lester and Oreice (Kitts) Dyer; infant sister, Edna Lucille Dyer; brothers, Kenneth Dyer, James Dyer and Charlie Dyer.

Kenneth Ray Johnson

Kenneth Ray Johnson – age 78 of Big Ridge, passed away on August 28, 2025. He was a lover of Norris Lake and loved to fish and hunt. Later in life he enjoyed playing UNO and Five Card Draw. Kenneth sang gospel songs every day and wanted everyone to know his love for the Lord. He was a Navy Veteran and retired from JBM Custom Metal Fabricators. Kenneth will be dearly missed by so many loved ones.

Regina Dillingham

Regina Dillingham, age 73 of Maynardville, Tennessee passed peacefully at home on Monday, August 25, 2025. Born January 14th, 1952 in Gadsden, Alabama, currently residing in Maynardville, Tennessee. She was the 1st child of 5 children born to Rev. Charles and Jimmie Dean McClure.

Lilliana Starr Ayers

Lilliana Starr Ayers-born August 24, 2025 at 3:30 a.m. and passed away at 6:20 a.m. at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. She is now resting in the arms of Jesus. She was loved so much by her family and would have been spoiled by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her uncle, Ian Cansler; great grandparents, John Ayers, Jr., George Cansler and Lucille Cureton.

Kathy Gayle Hensley

Kathy Gayle Hensley-age 73 of Luttrell went to be with Jesus Saturday, August 23, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church. Kathy was a hard worker and loved by all that ever met her. She was a former employee of American Clothing, Palm Beach and Rock-Tenn. Preceded in death by parents, Albert and Bonita (Boles) Hensley; sister, Shelby Beeler; brother-in-law, Hughie Beeler and brother, Doyle Hensley.

Francis Van Manning

America has lost another of her Vietnam Veterans. (Francis) Van Manning-age 77 of Maryville TN passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025 at UT Medical Center and is now at peace with his Savior. Van was a disabled combat veteran having served two tours as a Navy Corpsman aboard the USS White Plains and the USS Kittyhawk during the Vietnam Conflict. An accident on deck of the USS White Plains exposed all the sailors to Agent Orange and the resulting disabling consequences.

Philip Douglas Goddard

Philip D. Goddard-age 79 of Benton, Tennessee passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025.Born on August 5th, 1946 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He volunteered for the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He will be remembered for the love he had for family and friends. Phil was preceded in death by his parents Leonard Clay Goddard and Adeane Rose King Goddard, his sister Peggy J. Higdon.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Laura A. Goddard. Siblings: Betty L. Goddard,
