Eric Stephen Hill-age 46 of Maynardville passed away Friday evening, July 31, 2026, at North Knoxville Medical Center. He was a graduate of Horace Maynard High School, Class of 1997. He attended New Home Baptist Church, Andersonville. Preceded in death by his father, James Ruba Gordon Hill, Sr.; stepfather, Roy Branum, Jr.; grandparents, Alva and Leola Branum, Ruba and Dorothy Hill.

He is survived by his son, Alex Hill of Clinton; mother, Alice Kay (Branum) Hill of Maynardville; brother, James Hill of Maynardville; best friends, Michael Turner of Knoxville, Darrell Webb of Dandridge and several other family members along with a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday, August 6, 2026, with funeral service to follow at 7 PM, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Freddie Bean officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home for expenses. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
