Jimmy Edward Woods, Jr. age 42 of Mascot went to be with the Lord Friday, July 25, 2026 at U. T. Medical Center. He was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and an employee of Timkin, Mascot. Preceded in death by, grandparents, Paul Cardwell; Otis and Ruth Woods.

Survivors: mother, Penny Sue Woods of Mascot; son, Dakota Woods of Maynardville; father, Jimmy Edward Woods, Sr. of Maynardville; brother, Brandon Woods; grandmother, Joann Cardwell. Several other family members along with a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday July 30, 2026 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Thursday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Kenneth Cardwell officiating.
