Angela Kay Middleton-age 65 of Maynardville passed away Friday, July 31, 2026, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. Angela was helpful, kindhearted, welcoming and loved by so many. She worked as a social worker for many years and loved working with the kids of this community and their families. She loved her husband, kiddos and grandbabies more than anything. Preceded in death by the love of her life, Terry Middleton; parents, Steve and Ruth Snelson; brothers, Tommy Snelson, Rick (Reba) Snelson, and Mike Snelson; sister, Hope Snelson.

She is survived by her loving children, Randy Chisum (Chelsey Wyrick), Stephanie Chisum (Jimmy Kiser), Kelly Middleton (Moh Hammoum); grandchildren, Kaylee (Jordan), Makenzie, Maddix, Joshua, Tate, Maleya, Jaxson, Brody, and Tanner; brothers, Matthew Snelson, Jacob Snelson, Daniel Snelson; sisters, Coralee Sterling and Morgan Snelson along with other family members and a host friends.

The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Ft. Sanders regional medical centers Neuro and Cardiovascular ICU units as well as Covenant Hospice.

The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, August 3, 2026, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Maynardville, with funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM Monday, Rev. David McGinnis officiating. Interment 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 4, 2026, Butcher Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet 1:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home to go with the procession. Pallbearers: Jimmy Kiser, Jordan Wilson, Matt Middleton, Moh Hammoum, James Wynn, Cayden Middleton.
