Adela Hensley, 79, passed away on July 24, 2026, and went home to be with her Lord and Savior. She was a devoted Christian whose faith guided every part of her life. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of Jesus and reunited with loved ones who went before her.

Adela found joy in life’s simple pleasures and especially enjoyed online shopping. Her family lovingly remembers that there was always a package on the way to her home, and they smile imagining her being greeted in Heaven with even greater blessings waiting for her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hensley; her parents, Jessie and Marie Seals; her daughter, LaRonda Woolard; and her son-in-law, Larry “Jake” Woolard.

She is survived by her children, Gene (Ilyene) Tipton, James (Jill) Tipton, James Mathis, and Jesse Mathis (Andi); her grandchildren, LaRanda (Josh) Collins, Kayla (Matt) Heidel, Lindsay (Jamie) Dechaine, Aaron (Chloe) Tipton, Keaton Mathis, and Haven Mathis; and her great-grandchildren, Layla Heidel, Lake Heidel, and Eden Tipton.

Adela will be remembered for her strong faith, loving heart, and devotion to her family. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on through all who knew her.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
