Devin King
Devin Michael King, born June 19, 1996, went home to be with his Savior on July 17, 2026, at the age of 30.
Devin leaves behind a family he loved more deeply than words could ever express.
He leaves behind his loving parents, Mike and Rene’ King; his wife, Alexis King; and his beloved children, Anslei, Bellemy, Oliver and Alyana.
He also leaves behind his beloved sister, Destiny (Tommy), and brother, Darrin (Carah), who were not only his siblings but two of his closest and very best friends throughout his life.
Devin also leaves behind his deeply loved grandparents, Rick and Loretta Corum, with whom he shared an extraordinarily special and treasured bond.
He leaves behind his special nieces and nephews, Trenton, Adaya, Macey, Christopher, Blake, Elliot, Ayden, and Zack; his special cousins, Ethan, Hunter, and Summer Corum; his special uncle, John Corum; and his special aunts, Sharon (Steven) Vialuch and Amy (Menden) Mckeehen, along with a host of beloved extended family members.
Devin also leaves behind an extraordinary number of close and lifelong friends including lifelong friend, Rachael Hensley. There were simply too many people whom Devin loved and considered dear friends to name them all individually. Each held a special place in his life, and each carries memories of Devin that will forever be uniquely their own.
Devin was preceded in death by his unborn baby; his unborn sisters, Maddie, Olivia, and Erin King; his unborn brothers, Waylon and Wade King; his uncles Ricky, Rocky & Special uncle Christopher Corum, Grandparents, Bill and Debbie King his special cousin, Renee Bridges; and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones who went before him.
Devin was a gentle, kindhearted man who loved his family and friends fiercely. He grew up in church and was given by his parents what they considered the greatest gift they could ever give their son—the gift of knowing Jesus Christ as his Savior.
He loved spending time with his family and friends, being a daddy, helping others, working on cars, learning how things worked, listening to music, playing sports, driving dirt and back roads while enjoying God’s beautiful creation, spending time at the lake and ocean, and fishing
Devin had a gift for laughter and for making others laugh, even during their worst days. He never met many strangers, and those fortunate enough to know him will remember his gentle heart, protective nature, unforgettable laughter, charm, intelligence, handsome smile, and his ability to turn an ordinary day into a memory.
Devin happily worked for First Choice in Knoxville, Tennessee, alongside extended family he had grown up with.
He leaves behind far more than his name.
He leaves behind children who will carry a part of him forward, a family forever changed by loving him, friendships that lasted through many seasons of life, countless stories that will continue to be told, laughter that will still echo through memories, and a lifetime of love that death cannot take away.
Devin came into this world fighting, lived his life in full color, and left behind enough love, laughter, stories, and memories to keep his name alive for generations.
When the sun rises, remember him.
When the sun sets, remember him.
And when you find yourself beside the water with a fishing pole in your hand, remember that somewhere beyond what we can see, Devin has already found the perfect fishing spot.
This is not goodbye.
It is until we meet again.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 25, 2026 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Arnold Greene officiating.
