Irma Ruth Pallan-age 85 of Morristown passed peacefully surrounded by family on the morning of Sunday, August 9, 2026. She was born in Knoxville on August 27, 1940, and graduated from Halls High School in 1959. Irma Ruth was proud of her career as an X-Ray and Ultrasound Technologist. Her work took her to many states, and in retirement she spent time traveling the world. Irma Ruth lived in Alaska for nearly 30 years before moving back to East Tennessee three years ago.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Alice and Maida; parents, Herbert and Nancy Elizabeth Clark; husband, Edward Pallan.

She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Oaks; granddaughters, Lili Stith and Michaela Stith; sister, Juanita Price; brother, Charles “Flip” Clark, and their children and grandchildren.
