Glen Allen Gillis Kitts

Glen Allen Gillis Kitts-age 76 of Maynardville, born April 30, 1950, to Estel and Juanita Kitts, went to be with our Lord and Savior Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his loved ones. He was a member of Cedar Ford Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Estel “Fuzzy” and Juanita Kitts; brothers, Eddie “Moose” Kitts, Joe Kitts; sisters, Janice Wyrick and Carolyn Hensley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Patsy Kitts; children, Hank Kitts, Ben Kitts, Adam (Julie) Kitts, Tracy (Rodney) Jennings; brothers and sisters, Doyle (Janice), Johnny (Louama), Dennis (Tammy), Linda, Tammy, and Kim; sister-in-law, Laura Kitts; grandchildren, Cody (Keisha), Kayla, Shawntay (Austin), Jacob, Fayth (Tristan), Hope, Trey, Zac, Garritt, and Baylee; great grandchildren, Paisley, Allie, McKenzie, Colton, Mikey, Austyn, and Eva along with a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, August 1, 2026, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Maynardville, with funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM Saturday, Rev. Eddie Muncey officiating and music by Brittany Muncey, McKenzie Muncey, and Easton Muncey. Interment 3:00 PM Sunday, August 2, 2026, Big Barren Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet 2:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home to go with the procession. Pallbearers: Hank Kitts, Ben Kitts, Adam Kitts, Rodney Jennings, Trey Clark, Zac Clark. Honorary pallbearers: Tristan Foust and Garritt Jennings.
