She was a member of Nave Hill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Emily (Van Bebber) Burkhart; brother, Christopher Burkhart; sister, Patricia Burkhart.
Connie Ann Wynn – 65 of Maynardville, beloved sister and aunt, passed away unexpectedly on January 5, 2026. She was a member of Ailor Dale Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by mother, Barbara Paul; and sister, Katherine Neal. Connie is survived by sisters, Joyce (Rick) Sherlin, Michelle (Chuck) Nicely; brother, Terry (Linda Muncey) Wynn; as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

Fred Allen Perry – age 80 of Washburn, passed away Saturday morning, January 10, 2026, at U.T. Medical Center. He is a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and a retired employee of Carmeuse Luttrell Operation. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Dillinger; parents, Herbert and Nelle (Chesney) Perry; brothers, Alfred Perry, J.C. Perry, John Perry, Kyle Perry, Billy Perry.
John Ramaglia Sr. 75, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family in Washburn TN on January 8, 2026. He was born in 1950 to Thelma and John Ramaglia. He married the love of his life Denise in 1971. John loved to go fishing, go swimming in the river, have family movie nights and so much more with his grandchildren. He taught them how to work on cars and to build anything they could imagine. He was just a very loving caring Pop~Pop and father.

Ronnie Edgar Presley – age 68 of Maynardville, left his earthly home on Saturday, January 3, 2026 after a long and courageous battle with esophageal cancer and is now in the arms of Jesus. He was a member of Black Oak Heights Baptist Church. A lifelong truck driver, Ron later retired from CVS Pharmacy after 34 years of dedicated service. He was an avid fisherman and much of his life was spent on the lake, fishing and boating. Ron deeply loved his family. His grandson by love, Cooper, was the light of his world and brought him great joy.
LaRonda Sue Woolard – 60 of Maynardville, went to meet her Lord and Savior on January 4, 2026 while peacefully holding her daughter’s hand. Born on August 11, 1965, LaRonda graduated from Horace Maynard High School and built a life centered on the people she loved most. She was the glue of the family and that was everything to her. She cherished every moment spent with her daughter, friends and extended family. She was the proud owner of Rondo’s Pizza, a beloved local business where her customers and employees became like family.
Brycston Michael Chandler-age 29 of Luttrell went to be with his heavenly Father, Saturday morning, January 3, 2026, at North Knox Medical Center. He was a member of Mountain View Church of God. Gregory Lynn Webb-age 52, of Maynardville, Tennessee, traveled to paradise after a courageous three-year battle with multiple myeloma, Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
Ruby Jean Bailey-age 82 of Maynardville, born February 15, 1943, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 30, 2025, at her home while surrounded by her family. Ruby was saved at an early age and was a faithful member of Nave Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Taylor and Della (Yadon) Nicely; husband, Buddy Boy Bailey; sons, Buster Bailey, Leon Bailey and Tim Bailey; son-in-law, Larry Savage; great-grandson, Ethan Bailey; brother, L. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, puzzles, reading, and piddling in the yard. Mindy Rebecca Johnson-age 43 of Maynardville, born December 12, 1982, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, December 27, 2025. She was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church. She was such a giving and loving soul. She loved fishing, flea markets, photography and enjoying life in general. She also had a huge love for shoes. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Don and Ollie Jo Purkey, Elmer and Gladys Crawford; first husband, Douglas Buckner, aunt, Rebecca Brooks.
Thelma Ruth Johnson Walker-age 79 of Knoxville, born April 22, 1946 passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Loveland Baptist Church and attended Burnette’s Creek Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her loving parents, Willie and Trula Savage; brother, Ray Savage; nephew, Brad Lee; brother-in-law, Clyde Bailey.
Trilma Evelyn (Russell) Davis, our beloved mother, age 77, of Maynardville, went home to be with the Lord Friday, December 26, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was a member of Fellowship Christian Church, Luttrell, TN. She was born in Harlan, KY and moved to Maynardville, TN at the age of three where she remained throughout her life.
Gerald Wayne Hobock – age 81 of Maynardville went to be with the Lord Friday morning, December 26, 2025, at his home. He was a member of Hickory Valley Baptist Church and a graduate of Horace Maynard High School, Class of 1963. His favorite pastime was fishing for crappie and being on the lake. He is preceded in death by first wife, Elsie Hobock; son, Ronald (Pete) Hobock; parents, Jessie and Trula (McBee) Hobock; brother, James (J.L.) Hobock; sisters, Carolyn Walker, Marilyn Rodgers.
Maxine Moore—Age 89 of Maynardville, TN passed peacefully to her heavenly home the morning of December 24, 2025. Born January 10, 1936. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church for more than fifty years, where she met many life-long friends.
Maxine retired from Union County School System. She was also a talented seamstress and held a passion for her cross-stitch hobby where she expressed love through her cherished heirlooms.
Her greatest joy was her faith and family. Everyone who knew her was touched by her generous and caring spirit.
Elvin Paul “Fats” Helton – age 76 of Maynardville, passed away peacefully December 23, 2025. He was well known for fishing and hunting. Elvin loved to fish more than anything. He was a very devoted and generous man to his family and friends. Elvin was a very hard-working man and his smile touched the heart of whoever he bestowed it on.
