Helen Foster

Helen Pearl Foster – age 89 of Andersonville, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 27, 2026. She was saved as a young girl at Byram’s Fork Baptist Church. Helen was a member of Hines Creek Baptist Church. She loved to tell stories, music and laughter. Helen had a big heart for any small creature, especially her little dog, Roxy. She will be deeply missed and her many stories will be cherished forever.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Roger Foster; mother, Rebecca (Warwick) Craig; father, Avery McMahan; grandparents, Gipson and Cora Warwick; son-in-law, Kern Elkins; great grandson Grayson Graves; and step granddaughter, Sierra Huiting. Helen leaves behind her children, whom she loved dearly, daughter, Charlotte Elkins; son, Steven (Tena) Foster; grandchildren, Jason (Leighann) Elkins, Jennifer (Dusty) Coleman, Amber (Dan) Villeneuve; Lena (Philip) Dyer, Mindy (Timothy) Cox, Megan (Matt) Lovelace, and Javan Huiting; great grandchildren, Porter, Gipson, Campbell, Ava, Boone, Finley, Annalee, Grady, Dillon, Lilly, Jessie and Malcolm; special friends, Paris Archer and Yvonne Foust; along with many other friends and family.

The family will receive friends, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 30, 2026 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Steve Williams, Reverend Bobby Kitts and Reverend Kyle Shell officiating. Following service family and friends will proceed to Ridenour Cemetery for the graveside service.
