Wayne Franklin Smith- age 70 of Luttrell passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026. He was born on November 6, 1955, in Greenville, Tennessee and lived most of his life in Knoxville and the surrounding area. Wayne will be remembered and cherished by his family and friends for the life he shared with them and the memories he leaves behind. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Audrey Smith; brothers, Earnie, Robert “Bronson”, Lynn, Randell, Reed, and Charles Smith; grandson, Austin Jones; son-in-law, Ronald Stanley.

Wayne is survived by his daughters, Hope Stanley of Luttrell and Dawn (Curtis) Hawn of Clinton; grandchildren, Dawson Dyer of Luttrell, Faith (Travis) Brandon of Rockwood, Dallas Jones of Rockwood, William (Lora) Lowe of Kingston, Chase (Gracie) Lowe of Harriman, and Jesse (Abby) Garrett of Chesapeake, Virginia; seven great-grandchildren; sisters-In-law, Sandy Smith of Knoxville, Cathy Smith of Knoxville and several nieces and nephews.

Wayne’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all those who knew and loved him.
