Katherine Marie Grimes – age 61 of Maynardville, TN went home to be with the Lord, September 19, 2026. She was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mary Jane Blackburn; father and mother-in-law, Wayne and Wilma Grimes. ‘
Katherine is survived by her loving husband, Mark Grimes; stepdaughter, Ashley Grimes; granddaughter, Mia Grimes; brother, Robert (Stephanie) Blackburn; nephews, Brandon (Nicole) Blackburn, Matthew Blackburn, Robbie (Kaity) Blackburn, India (Miciah) Cooper; great nieces and nephews, Devon, Hanna, Elizabeth, and Elisha Blackburn, Kenneth and Mason Capps, McKinley Blackburn; uncle, Glen Muncey; aunts, Bet Hackney and Lillian Tharpe and several cousins.

The family will receive friends, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 22, 2026, in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service to follow with Reverend Josh Jones officiating and reading of the obituary by Robert Blackburn. Music by Kathy Dyer.
