Help support Fresh Wagon this holiday season

As the holiday season approaches, the Union County Fresh Wagon program is asking for the community’s help to collect non-perishable food items for local families in need. Donations will be accepted November 1-14, and every contribution helps make a difference for a neighbor this holiday season.

We are currently collecting boxes of stuffing mix, packages of instant mashed potatoes and boxes of macaroni and cheese. Any brands and sizes are acceptable.

Donation boxes are located at the Union County Board of Education Building, the Union County Extension Office, and St. Teresa’s Catholic Church.

Fresh Wagon is a monthly community food distribution open to all Union County residents. The program works to ensure that every family has access to nutritious foods, especially during the busy holiday months.

Upcoming Fresh Wagon distributions: November 25 at Sharps Chapel Community Center at 1 p.m. and December 16 at Maynardville First Bank at 1 p.m.
To stay updated on future distribution times and locations, visit facebook.com/FreshWagonUnionCounty.

Let’s come together to share the spirit of giving this season—one box of food at a time.
