Union County FCE Invites Community to February Heart Health Program

The Union County Family and Community Education (FCE) Club invites community members to attend its February meeting on Thursday, February 19, at 10:00 a.m. at the Union County Extension Office.

This month’s program will focus on heart health and healthy cooking choices. Special guest Anna Marie from the Union County Health Department will share practical tips for protecting your heart, improving everyday eating habits, and making small lifestyle changes that can lead to better overall health.

Participants will also learn about the benefits of different cooking oils, how they affect the body, and which oils are best for baking and cooking. For a fun and interactive activity, attendees will take part in a brownie taste test to see if they can tell the difference between treats made with different oils.

FCE meetings provide opportunities for learning, fellowship, and community involvement, and all interested residents are welcome to attend.
