Union County FCE Holds November Meeting and Baby Shower Celebration

The Union County Family and Community Education (FCE) Club held its November meeting on Thursday, November 20, at the Union County Extension Office. Members gathered for a morning filled with fellowship, delicious food, and special celebrations.

This month’s meeting featured a Soup and Sandwich luncheon, with members bringing a wide variety of soups, sandwiches, desserts, and side dishes to share. The group enjoyed warm conversation and a strong sense of community as they ate together.

A brief business meeting was conducted, followed by a time of fun and laughter as members played several baby shower games. The club also celebrated two growing families within the Extension community: Josh and Brittany Bowlin and Sarah and Andrew Cook, who are each preparing to welcome new babies. Members enjoyed showering both families with encouragement, support, and well-wishes.

The FCE group continues to focus on community service and fellowship throughout the year. Their next meeting will be the annual Christmas Celebration, scheduled for Thursday, December 18, at 10:00 a.m. at the Union County Extension Office.
