Union County 4-H to Host Back-to-School Brunch

Union County 4-H is inviting local youth to kick off the new school year with a morning full of fun, food, and fellowship! The 4-H Back to School Brunch will be held Saturday, August 16th at 10 AM, hosted by the Union County 4-H Honor Club.

The event is open to all students in 4th–12th grade and will feature free food, games, and plenty of activities to get excited about the school year ahead. Youth are encouraged to wear their favorite school-appropriate pajamas and enjoy a make-your-own pancake station along with delicious brunch sides.

In addition to the fun, participants will also take part in a special service project to start the year on a giving note—painting and repurposing items. To help with this project, organizers are requesting donations of empty, clean soup cans to be dropped off by August 11th.

“This event is the perfect way to connect with friends, meet new people, and get excited for the school year while also giving back to the community,” said Union County 4-H Agent Sarah Stokely-Cook.

Pre-registration is encouraged. For more information or to register, contact Sarah Stokely-Cook at 865-992-8038 or email madsstok@utk.edu.
