Help!! The World Needs Amore

By James Perry
It’s 1956 and Khruschev is on TV in the USA and states, “We will take over America without firing a shot!”
This bold statement by the Russian leader shocked most Americans but was soon forgotten by most, because at the time things were good across the USA. We had been out of the Korean War for three years. The USA economy was growing. We had new music for the young, great looking cars that families could afford and the new TV medium being covered by three national channels, NBC, CBS, ABC and the new public channel.
Things were great in the ole USA. Families were welcoming new babies through the 1950s with three-four children being born to most, with father working and mother at home raising the young. Everything was hunky-dory across the sleepy USA.
But underway there was skullduggery creeping into our public institutions such as universities, colleges, U.S. government, and most of all our entertainment medium such as TV programs and movies with plans to change our music, especially the doo-wop, rock-n-roll and country.
These musical changes happened on February 7, 1964, with the arrival of the Beatles from England. I consider the arrival of the Beatles very similar to the arrival of the boll weevil in 1892. Both of these insects caused devastation throughout the USA. The boll weevil migrated north from Mexico but the Beatles were forced upon us to disrupt and change our American music with the British groups that followed, and like Johnny Cash commented:], “If you don’t like what’s on stage now just take a look in the wings; you will not like what you see.”
Over the following years there came country rock, punk rock, heavy metal, and the worst which is rap noise and vulgarity.

The next hit on American culture was coming from our learned educators and national media talking heads telling the American working class that Japanese workers were more efficient and produced more than American workers and that American workers needed to produce more and work more hours to compete with Japan. Then came the messages of national media that women needed to abandon motherhood and go to work. Well American women did that. This started the breakup of the American family home and has evolved to the America that we have today.

Another philosophy that is being pushed today is that a boy of 17 cannot date a girl of 15 or a young man of 19 cannot date a girl of 17. That touching is “inappropriate” for a boy. I know of many of my generation where the male was in their mid- to late 20s and dated then married girls who were 17 years old. These remained married until death. Not like today where there is a 50 percent divorce rate.

The problems of today not only in the USA but worldwide are being caused by educational institution’s directives and socialist ideas being pushed on the USA and the free world by socialist learning institutions, our national media and unions which are socialist collectives.

The world for most is experiencing a major problem now. That problem is loss of population because of low birth rates. This will turn into a major world problem as the current world population ages out of the workforce and there are not enough young people to replace them, and the pipeline is getting smaller as time moves on. How about retirement? Will there be enough food, clothing, home building, taxes, babies?

How would you like to drive maybe 200 miles to see a human baby in the year 2070? You would not be allowed to hold it because maybe 5,000 others would pay to hold it for three minutes.

Here is a list of some countries’ declining birth rates:
America - from 1976
Canada - 15-year downturn in births
England, Ireland, Scotland - lowest since 1938
Scandinavia – 19 percent drop
Russia - 200 year low
China - 54 percent decline since 1970
Mongolia - 10 percent drop
Africa - Declined 4 percent over last three years
Italy – 35 percent since 2008
Germany - New record since 2004
South America - 4 percent drop since 1950
Latin America - 20 percent since 1950
Mexico - 33 percent since 1960
Philippines – 1 percent per year decline

Almost every country is having birth rates drop. This indicates a worldwide aging problem for the entire world, which will impact food production and distribution as well as future job replacements as the world’s population ages out of the work force, which will impact tax collection and retirement income for today’s workers. Forty percent of today’s births are to unmarried women in the USA. This has doubled since 1980.

I know this sounds absurd, but it will work:

1. Bring back the 1955-56 Ford, Chevy and Plymouth automobiles. They have large rear seats.
2. Bring back the drive-in movies. Might need government assistance.
3. Check with the Japanese (Sony) and German (Bear Family) and re-release these songs:
1951 Hank Williams - Baby We’re Really in Love
1951 Carl Smith - When You Feel Like You’re in Love
1951 Carl Smith - Mr. Moon
1957 Johnny Mathis - Chances Are (Had surge in births in 1958 after release)
4. Have the word “inappropriate” stricken from the English language.
5. Tell these wimpy-butted teenage boys to become men like their grandfathers when men were men and women were glad of it.

See you next month.
