Hamilton Gathering of Generations set for Sept. 13

The second Hamilton Family Gathering of Generations will take place on Saturday, September 13, at 11 a.m. at the Union County Historical Society at 3824 Maynardville Highway.

All descendants, relatives and families with loved ones buried in the Hamilton Cemetery are warmly invited to attend. This event offers a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, share family history and enjoy a community lunch—please bring a covered dish to contribute. Highlights of the day include a meet and greet, sharing of genealogical research, history, stories and tours of the Hamilton Cemetery and the Hamilton-Tolliver Cabin.

“We’re excited to bring everyone together again to celebrate our shared heritage,” said Charlie Hamilton, president of the Hamilton Cemetery Association Board of Directors. “It’s important that we continue preserving these sites and stories for future generations.”
