Stochia Brantley’s fall 2025 Certified Nursing Assistant class finished off their course by taking the final exam. This exam consisted of a 100-question written exam followed by a skills portion monitored by a state proctor.
Prior to their CNA test, students spent clinical hours alongside partner Willow Ridge Nursing Home. They gained a lot of experience through shadowing but also had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience.
Student Olivia Jones recounts her experience: ¨I am very grateful to have had the opportunity of this class. My favorite part was meeting and connecting with all the residents. It is very eye-opening and also rewarding! They had such great stories of their lives. I owe thanks to Mrs. Brantley and Willow Ridge employees for providing this to us.
Students who pass the test to obtain their license can land jobs in almost all healthcare settings almost immediately. Each of Brantley’s students passed their CNA exam, earning the class and the teacher a 100% passing rate! Any rising senior interested in applying for a position in this class is highly encouraged to speak with Brantley.
Congratulations to the new CNAs, you are making Union County proud.
