I don’t like wearing a mask. I doubt that anyone does.
Having stayed home because of the Safer at Home and Stay at Home orders in March and April, I have had little reason to. But breaking my foot on May 9 forced me into healthcare facilities, giving rise to the need for wearing a mask.

Residents at Willow Ridge Center in Maynardville are feeling the love even more these days. Admissions and marketing director Kathy Chesney said mindfulness and generosity from local organizations have given residents new in-room televisions and a new water fountain with a bottle filling station.

There's a new face seeing patients at Willow Ridge Center in Maynardville. The long-term care and rehabilitation center, operated by Genesis Healthcare, welcomed new medical director Dr. Nancy Witherspoon (pictured above, at left) in December, and she's spent the last two months getting to know the patients and residents at Willow Ridge.

Both Witherspoon and Willow Ridge executive director Rebecca Mills agree that it's the small-town feel that makes Willow Ridge unique.
