Wild Blue Yonder headlines 21st UC Heritage Festival

Wild Blue Yonder headlines the Union County Heritage Festival on the Emily Link Gazebo Main Stage on October 4 at Wilson Park behind the high school. Acoustic mountain gospel, old-time, and bluegrass songs in Appalachian style are heart and soul of Wild Blue Yonder. With a home base practically in spittin’ distance of Union County, WBY honors the rich musical traditions that have echoed from our ridges for centuries. The trio includes classical cellist/fiddler/vocalist Kristiana McCombs Arnwine, 2022 winner of the Mountain Soul vocal competition in Sevier County.

Wild Blue Yonder Band shares the roots of Appalachian Music

Wild Blue Yonder band returns to headline the Gospel Tent at the 20th Union County Heritage Festival.
Acoustic mountain gospel, old-time and bluegrass songs in Appalachian style are the heart and soul of Wild Blue Yonder, based in Knoxville. Fiddle, cello, mandolin, banjo, guitar and three-part harmonies combine in a rootsy blend, honoring the rich musical traditions of the Smoky Mountains and beyond.

Wild Blue Yonder Band Books Union County

Wild Blue Yonder Band will return to Union County with two dates to perform their Appalachian traditional music. The public is invited to hear their free performance at Lil' Jo's in Maynardville on this Friday night, January 12, from 7:00 to 9:00. Members and guests of the Union County Historical society will benefit from Wild Blue Yonder's entertainment on Sunday, January 21, at 2:30 at the Union County Museum.
