Union County is gearing up for a full day of cars, chrome, horsepower and hometown history as the Thunder Road Car Show and Swap Meet rolls into Wilson Park and Union County High School on Saturday, March 21, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine.

Were you there last year? If so, you sure don’t want to miss this year!! Did you miss it last year?? Don’t make that mistake again this year! Last year was fantastic. A resounding success for the first year of any festival. But THIS year’s Sharps Chapel Fall Festival has been in the planning process for a year. A whole year! And it will be bigger and it will be even better than last year.

The 4th Annual Thunder in the Park, free professional fireworks show will light up the night sky in Maynardville, Tennessee, on Saturday evening, August 31, 2019. The gates open at 5:00pm, so be there with the family and some lawn chairs at Wilson Park to witness the county’s signature event. Last year’s nearly 8,000 attendees can share that the event was a spectacular light show with an array of family friendly activities available in addition.
