Eddie G. Hunley-age 75 of Knoxville passed away Sunday morning, May 3, 2020 at his home. He was a member of Glen Oak Baptist Church, a U. S. Army Veteran and was a retired employee of Ronford Office Supply. Preceded in death by parents, Elbert and Evelyn (Booker) Hunley; brother, Kyle Hunley.
Glen E. Ramey-age 76 of Luttrell, formerly of Harlan, Kentucky passed away peacefully Friday, May 1, 2020 at his home after a long battle with COPD. Glen is a veteran in which he served a total of 27 years, in which he earned several medals. He served in the U. S. Army as a SP4E4(T) 1961 through 1969, during Vietnam. He later served in the U. S. Air Force as SMSGNT 1971 through 1990. Then he retired and started his career at American Home Oxygen Company where he spent 14 years as an employee. Glen took great pride in his time spent in the services and loved telling his stories.
Jay Michael ‘Mike’ Collins-age 61 of Maynardville, born March 3, 1959 passed away suddenly Thursday, April 30, 2020 at his home. He will be truly missed by his family and friends. Lavada “Cookie” Carol Cooke Aker, age 85, of Maynardville, passed away April 23, 2020, at Maple Court Senior Living Facility. Lavada was a professing believer of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Born in Sharps Chapel, Lavada spent a large portion of her life in Washington D.C., while working for the FBI. Many lifelong friends were made from both locations. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Aker; son, Kevin Aker; parents, Milton and Vesta Cooke; brothers Ora, Roy, and Buddy Cooke; sisters Frances Cooke, Maggie Monroe, and Myrtle June Porter.

Kasie Masingo age 34 of Sharps Chapel was born December 13, 1985. She passed away on April 19, 2020 at her home. Kasie's beauty and smile lit up any room she walked into. She loved a good joke, and her laugh was contagious. Kasie was a former employee of Volunteer Knit in Tazewell.
She loved her nieces Savanna, Maria, and her nephew Dakota very much. She was dearly loved by her mother, Florence Monroe, her father, Charles (Chub) Masingo and step-mother, Brenda; her brother, Junior Masingo and Dulcie. She will be dearly missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
