Shirley D. (Smith) McCloud-age 79 of Luttrell passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at North Knoxville Medical Center where we said goodbye to our precious mother. She was a graduate of Gibbs High School and a member of Calvery’s Cross Church. Preceded in death by husband, Charles G. McCloud; parents, Eustace (Sewell) and Kathleen Smith; brother, Larry Smith.

Survived by daughters, Tina Walters, Kim (Rodney) Boles; step-daughter, Kelly (Brian) Miles; Kristi (Kelly) Burns. Grandchildren, Jeremy (Lashea) Walters; Hope (William) Rose; Haley (Michael) Ramsey; Katrina (Jon) Collins; Austin Miller, Jake Miles, Taylor (Nathan) Rose. Bonus granddaughter, Ju Ju Johnson. Eleven great-grandchildren along with a host of family and friends that she loved and adored.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2026 with the funeral service to follow at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Chris Washam officiating with music by The Washam Family. Interment 11 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2026, Sharp Cemetery, Corryton-Luttrell Road, Luttrell. Family and friends will meet 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home to travel with the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Rodney Boles, Jeremy Walters, Nathan Rose, William Rose, Jon Dishner, David Kitts.
