Rosa Lee (Loope) Aye-age 92 of Maynardville passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Sacred Ground Hospice. She was a member of Hubbs Grove Baptist Church. She was the owner-operator of her own furniture store in Detroit, Michigan before retirement and returning to Union County. She was very active in the Union County Senior Citizens Center and enjoyed their activities. She has gone home to be with her husband of 64 years, Rev. Walter Aye; sister, Dorothy Kaliski; brothers, Howard Loope, Clyde Loope, Jerry Loope, Randy Shupe.

She is survived by her son, Ron Aye and wife, Jill of Rockford, Michigan; daughters, Diane Nichols and husband, Clarence of Corsicana, Texas, Carolyn Peters and husband, John of Allenton, Michigan; grandchildren, Lauren, Sara, Georgette, Jeremy, Amy; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Katherine Tarr and husband, Fred of Michigan, Lorena Brown of Michigan, Joanna McDaniel and husband, Sid of Knoxville, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews along with a host of church family and friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday, December 1, 2023 with the funeral service to follow at 7 pm at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Robert Corum officiating. Interment 11 am Saturday, December 2, 2023 Nave Hill Cemetery, Maynardville, Rev. Scott Thompson officating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 am Saturday at the funeral home to go in procession. Pallbearers will be Family and friends. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville.
