Roberta Allie England went home to be with her Lord on July 9, 2026, at the age of 92. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a life-long member of Leatherwood Baptist Church. Everyone that knew her was a witness to how fiercely she loved and cherished her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Bertha Maddox; her loving husband of 64 years, Matt England; children, Lynn England, Larry England and Christine England; grandson, Matthew Roach; sisters, Volene Frye and Pauline Myers; brothers, Ralph Maddox and Earl Maddox; Roberta is survived by her children, Nancy England, Kathy (Jimmy) Roach, Kenny (Melissa) England, Terry (Shannon) England; brother, Corbin (Jerri) Maddox; grandchildren, Chrissy (Adam) Modlin, Robbie (Samantha) England, Eli (Leslie) England, Jordan (Garrett) Tucker, Summer England, Preston (Presleigh) England, and Hayli England. Great-grandchildren, Dylan Roach, Landon Carter, Lexi England, Emersyn England, Connor England, Natalie England, Emma Tucker, Brighton England, Kendalyn England, Olivia Tucker, Leighton England and Hollin England; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support.
Services will be held at Trinity Funeral Home in Maynardville, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 12th from 5-7 pm with the funeral immediately following. Officiants are Rev. Greg Sharp and Rev. Tim Sharp with music provided by Garrett Tucker and Garry Tucker. Family and friends will meet 10 am, on Monday, July 13th to proceed to Collins Cemetery for an 11:30 am graveside service.
