Rhonda Richardson
Rhonda Sue Richardson – age 66 of Union County, passed away October 7, 2026. Rhonda was a member of Free Spirit Missionary Baptist Church. Rhonda was feisty, funny and had a wild spirit. She was one of a kind. Rhonda could make you laugh – or make you run. She loved fiercely, lived boldly and left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Rhonda will be deeply missed by all of her loving family and friends. There is comfort in knowing she is reunited with her Heavenly Father, free from pain and suffering. “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.” Revelation 21:4. As for Rhonda, this isn’t goodbye, it’s “I’ll see you when we meet again.”
She is preceded in death by parents, Leona Crisp and Kenneth “LB” Wilson; her loving sister, Margie Shepherd; beloved brothers, Morgan Wilson and Steve Wilson; sister-in-law, Rita Richardson; and her great-grandson, Greyson Louden. Rhonda is survived by her loving husband, Roger Richardson, Sr., whom she married in April 1996, sharing 30 years of marriage together; children, Richard (Felicia) Heatherly, Robyn (J. J.) Lay; Lori (Rob) Lockhart; Roger Richardson, Jr.,; Jonathan (Macy) and Anthony Richardson; grandchildren, Kenneth, Rebecca, Jenna and Savannah Heatherly; Cole and Skyler Felthoff, Kayla (David), Randy (Grace), and Nathan (Haley) Louden, Victoria, Dillon (Grace), and Michael Lockhart; Gabe, Felix, Jack, Vinny, Branch, Sadie, Lucie and Serena Richardson; and a host of great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy (Jerry) Ball; mother-in-law, Juanita Richardson; and her remaining brothers and sisters-in law, Jim Shepherd, Johnny (Kathy) ,Chad (Marla), Jeff (Peggy) Richardson and Tesha (Ken) Falasco; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her best friend, Charlotte Claiborn; and her sweet little dog, Oden, whom she was absolutely crazy about.
The family will receive family and friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2026 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Wayne Henderson officiating.
