Michael Allen Perry
Michael Allen Perry, July 8, 1962 – May 9, 2026-age 63 of Maynardville, departed this life for his Heavenly home on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at North Knoxville Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert and Nell Perry; Roscoe and Mossie Collins; father, Alfred Perry; wife, Janice Perry; son, Craig Perry; grandson, Eli Smith; brothers, Alfred “Cotton” Perry Jr., David Perry, Ronnie Perry, and nephews.
He is survived by his loving mother, Edna Perry; sisters, Sue (Clyde) Coffey, Mary (Duane) Chandler; brother, Bobby (Charolette) Perry; sons, Shaun (Sonya) Perry, Stevie Cooper, and Brayden Perry; daughter, Jessica (Jason) Smith, Laiken Perry.
He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Hannah, Austin, Makayla, Justin, and Isaiah Perry, Kayden Kitts, Lily Crowe, Jasmine (Chad) Thompson, Hayley (Bryan) Davis, Savanna and Jason Smith Jr.
He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Colton and Kinsley Thompson, with one great-grandchild, Delilah Davis, on the way, along with several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends who will dearly miss him.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Monday with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Robert Gibson officiating with music by The Valley Boys. Interment 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2026, Dyer Cemetery, Powder Springs. Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home to go in the funeral procession. Pallbearers will be Austin Perry, Justin Perry, Isaiah Perry, Jason Smith, Bryan Davis, and Chad Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Smith Jr. and Luther Cruz. In lieu of flowers, donations for expenses will be accepted at the funeral home. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
