Margaret L. Adkins “Lynn” - age 79 of Maynardville, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at her home. She was a member of Alder Springs Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by husband, Keith Adkins; parents, Wiliam R. and Ora Widner; and brother-in-law, Donald Jenes. Lynn is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and James Johnson; grandsons, Bryson and James; granddaughters, Lindsey and Addie; brother, Stephen (Millie) Widner; sisters, Claudia ‘Katie” Jenes and Jody (Wayne) Henderson; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 19, 2026 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Jimmy Davidson officiating with music provided by Sharon Helms and Kent and Tina Venable. Family and friends will meet 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 20, 2026 at Trinity to proceed to Skaggs Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Following graveside service family and friends are invited to Alder Springs Baptist Church for dinner. Serving as pallbearers, James Johnson (Bryson and James), Jamie Jenes, Dusty Wheeles, Ethan Wheeles, Cameron Wheeles and Chris Shultz; honorary pallbearers, Rodney Widner, Jason Sluss, Andrew Zielinski and Alex Zielinski.
