Lee Roy Oglesby-age 84 of Maynardville, formerly of South Knoxville, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 26, 2026 at the home of his niece/caregiver, Judy Beason. He enjoyed fishing and retired from the City of Knoxville. Preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Esther Oglesby; brothers, J.C. Oglesby, Howard Oglesby, Billy Joe Oglesby; sisters, Ruth Hensley, Dorothy Fagg, June Hurst.

He is survived by his son, Eric Houser and wife, Rebecca; grandson, Joshua Houser; mother of his son, Teresa Oglesby; niece/caregiver, Judy Beason; caregivers, Cynthia Brown and Alivia Beason; special friend, Antoinette. A special thank you to Whitley Washam and Anthony Fritz with Suncrest Hospice and all the staff.

At his request Mr. Oglesby will be cremated and no services are planned. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
