Larry Michael Wilkins – 71 of Maynardville, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 8, 2026. He was a proud and devoted single father of two children, Sarah and Jason, who were his pride and joy. Larry was a chef for many years and truly loved what he did. Food brought people together and that’s what he did. He was a devoted father, son, brother, friend and husband. Later in life he found love and held on and cherished every moment they had. Larry truly was a very compassionate, loyal, extraordinarily genuine kind soul. If you didn’t find him in the kitchen you could always find him helping a friend or stranger. From mowing yards or washing dishes there was nothing he wouldn’t do to help anyone out. Although his time here was short, he cherished every moment with his church family and his new community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by father, Herman Wilkins; mother, Bobbie Galloway; and son, Jason Wilkins. Larry leaves behind a loving and devoted wife, Mary Wilkins of Maynardville; daughter, Sarah Ali; five siblings, Gail Ayers, Tim Wilkins, Patti Machac, Karen Mullins and Sharen Wilkins all of Texas.
