Judy Faye Shoffner – age 68 of Sharps Chapel passed away Sunday afternoon, December 24, 2023 at her 2nd home in Tazewell. She attended Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church and Taylors Grove Missionary Baptist Church in her younger years.
Preceded in death by her parents, Cillis and Vella (Tapp) Shoffner; brothers, George Paul Shoffner, Roy Lee Shoffner.
Survived by her sister-in-law, Dorothy Shoffner of Knoxville; nephews, Paul D. Shoffner and wife Rhonda of Corryton, Mike Shoffner and wife Susan of Knoxville; several great-nieces and great-nephews; special friends, Betty Shoffner of Luttrell, Edna West of Corryton.
A special thank you to Leslie, Christy and Ashley and all of the staff at CMI for their love and care of Judy for the past 10 years.
Family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m., Rev. Greg Sharp officiating, music by the Sherritze family. Family and friends will meet 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary to go in procession to Stiner Cemetery for a 11:00 a.m. interment, pallbearers will be friends and family. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville.
