Jerry E. Bailey, Jr.-age 57 of Thorn Hill, formerly of Maynardville, born October 19, 1968, in Knoxville, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2026, at home with his family by his side. Jerry enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley, spending time on the lake and refinishing furniture. Preceded in death by his father, Jerry E. Bailey, Sr.; mother, Brenda England Miracle; maternal grandparents, Ott and Sara England; paternal grandparents, Claude and Goldie Bailey; companion and best friend, Piper.

He is survived by his fiancé, Leigh Ann Yount; brothers, Kenny (Michelle) Bailey, Jonathan (Kayla) Miracle; stepdad, John Miracle; stepmom, Nell Bailey and several nieces and nephews with a host of special friends.

The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, July 7, 2026, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville, with funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM Tuesday Rev. Gabril Haynes officiating and music by Rev. Richard and Linda Nicley. Burial 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 8, 2026, Yadon Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Wednesday at the funeral home to go with the procession. Pallbearers: John Miracle, Jonathan Miracle, Kenny Bailey, Bobby Brown, Craig Ingle, Doyle Crawford. In lieu of flowers donations may be made at the funeral home for expenses.
