Harlan Wayne Lynch

Harlan Wayne Lynch ran into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the age of 71. Harlan was born March 30, 1954, a resident of Powell but grew up in the Luttrell community where he found a love for fishing, cars and NASCAR racing. As years went by those hobbies quickly grew to hunting, a passion for the Tennessee Vols, music and guitars. His two favorite places to be, were sitting in the sun on the beaches of Panama City and being with his church congregation. He loved to share his testimony of God’s love and faithfulness through his musical talents, especially with his church family at Knox Connect where he was a longtime member and serving deacon. Harlan held a simple yet deep and unshakeable love for Jesus.

He was welcomed at heavens gates by a multitude of family and friends including his parents Willis and Gladys Lynch and brother-in-law Paul Wyatt.

He leaves behind the love of his life, Melissa Montandon, his son whom he was so proud of, Brent Lynch and wife Sherissa and the two biggest joys in his life, his granddaughters Josie and Emma Lynch. His sisters Sheryl Wyatt and Judy (Buddy) Baker, niece Paula (Mike) Brown, great niece and nephew Alivia Brown and Wyatt (Kris Ellis) Brown. Along with several other family members and close friends.

A special thank you to Knox Connect church for your endless care, support and love.
