Doris Fay Lewis -”Mamaw Dodo”, age 82 of Maynardville was welcomed into her Heavenly home Tuesday, June 30, 2026. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church. She was welcomed by her parents, Willie and Mary Tharp; five siblings and her son, Frank “Bill” Thomas, Jr.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Rita Wyrick; grandsons, Chris and Misty Wyrick; Aaron and Kim Wyrick; Jerry and Melissa Claiborne. 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 10 a.m. till 12 noon Friday, July 3, 2026 with the funeral service to follow at 12 noon Friday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Daniel Kitts officiating with music by Rhonda Turner. Interment following at the Beeler Cemetery, Hickory Valley Road, Maynardville. Pallbearers: Chris Wyrick, Aaron Wyrick, Eldon Davis, Alex Gavette, Isaiah Williams, Randy Turner. Honorary Pallbearers: Maddix Wyrick and Roger Turner. Following the burial, family and friends will meet at the Union Church Fellowship Hall. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
