Charles Lee Beason – age 82 of Maynardville, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at North Knoxville Medical Center. He was a member of Oaks Chapel American Christian Church. He is a retired employee of Marlock.
Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Stella (Sweet) Beason; son, Danny Lee Beason; son-in-law, Mark Allen Langley; siblings, Arthur Beason Jr., Ralph Beason, Ruby Mynatt, Helen McCoy, Paris Beason, Eugene Beason.
Survived by loving wife of 63 years, Artie Belle (Beeler) Beason; son, Jeffrey Beason of Knoxville; daughters, Teresa Ledford and husband Roy of Knoxville, Karen Munsey and husband, David of Maynardville; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Polly Shockley of Knoxville and Patsy Gardner of Maynardville; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Family and friends will meet at 1:45 pm on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Beason Family Cemetery in New Tazewell, for a 2:00 pm graveside service, officiated by Rev. Kyle Shell. Pallbearers will be the family and friends. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville.
