Bessie J. “Dolly” Young-age 83 of Maynardville passed away Friday, October 9, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Blaine’s Chapel American Christian Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Lillie Belle Dyer; husband, Jerry Young; son, Jerry Dale Young; daughter, Teresa Kitts; grandson, Cody Kitts and several special aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her daughters, LeDonna Young, Sharon (James) Tillie, Loretta Young; son, Larry (Kay) Young; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; special niece, Sandy Hatfield; special nephews, Terry, Tim, and David Reed.

The family will receive friends 3-5 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2026, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary. Graveside service 1 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2026, Dyer Cemetery, Powder Springs, Rev. Bob Zavatterri officiating with music by Amy Reno, Terry Reed. Pallbearers: Michael Delph, Anthony Delph, Jonathan Tillie, Chris Young, Ryan Young, Josh Kitts. Honorary pallbearer: Brandon Nicley.
