April Diane Wyrick (née Fritts), age 77 of Knoxville passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, into the loving arms of Jesus, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Diane was a devout child of God, wonderful mother and an amazingly devoted grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She had a gentle spirit, a caring heart, and a remarkable ability to make those around her feel deeply loved and supported. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Flora Fritts; her brothers, John, Kenneth, Quintin, and Carroll; and her sisters, Shirley and Sandra.

Diane is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Calday A. Wyrick, Jr.; her son, Calday Arthur Wyrick III (Shawna); her daughter, Callie Adrian West (Adam); and her cherished grandchildren, Megan (Joe) Cobos, Abby and Eva Wyrick, and Caiden West, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by one sister, along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly.

Diane's life was defined by love, compassion, and quiet strength. She leaves behind countless treasured memories and a family who will carry her spirit with them always. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A graveside service will be held 12 Noon Thursday, March 26, 2026, Sharp Cemetery, Highway 370. Luttrell with Rev. Leonard Goin officiating. Please meet at the cemetery by 11:45 a.m. Thursday. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
