Anna J. Gatti

March 16, 1927 – October 29, 2026

Anna J. Gatti, age 99, passed away on October 29, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her dearly and a lifetime of memories that will be treasured for generations.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on March 16, 1927, Anna spent most of her life in El Paso, Texas, before spending her final years in Tennessee with her daughter Sandra. Anna was a lifelong Catholic, her faith was an important part of her life.

Anna was a woman whose personality was as unforgettable as her love for her family. She was strong-willed, stubborn, sarcastic, funny, and loving. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a passion for golf, and a talent for making delicious Italian food. Her kitchen and her family were always close to her heart, and she had a special way of bringing people together. She was truly the heart of this family, right up until the end.

Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She treasured every moment with them and never missed an opportunity to show them affection. One of her last expressions of love was saying that she was going to miss loving on the children. Those words perfectly captured the depth of her love and the special place they held in her heart.

Anna is survived by her loving children: Karen Hanna and son-in-law Don Hanna; Jacqueline Nunez and son-in-law Julio Nunez; Susan Noble; Joseph Gatti and daughter-in-law Kristi Gatti; and Sandra Bylotas and son-in-law Edward Bylotas.

She also leaves behind seven grandchildren: Gabriel Nunez, Richard Nunez, Michelle Page, Jessi Gatti, Nicholas Gatti, Ryan Noble, and Bailey Bylotas, along with ten great-grandchildren who were a tremendous source of joy in her life.

Anna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Gatti; her parents, Anthony and Josephine Giaquinto; her sister, Mary Gatti; and her granddaughter, Jaime Hanna Barnett.

At 99 years old, Anna leaves behind a legacy that cannot be measured in years, but in the generations of family she created, the memories she gave, the laughter she shared, and the love she so freely gave.

She was one of a kind. Her stubbornness, sarcasm, humor, Italian cooking, and unconditional love will forever be part of the family she held together.

She will be missed beyond words, loved beyond measure, and remembered always. May she rest in the eternal peace of God’s loving arms.
