Voyd C. Keck, age 90 of Halls, formerly of Union Co., passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, April 4, 2021. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church of Halls. Graduated class of 1950, Horace Maynard High School. Retired from University of Tennessee Physical Plant as General Supt. of structural maintenance. He was a 49-year member of Masters Lodge #244 F. & A.M. K.C.C.H. Scottish Rite of Knoxville, Areme Chapter #466 O.E.S.
Mitchell Steven Beason-age 68 of Luttrell passed away Friday morning, April 2, 2021 at his home. He was a Christian and had a great love of dogs, cats and all animals. Preceded in death by parents, Mitchell Lee and Martha (Woods) Beason; siblings, Lucille Ford, Gene Beason, Agnes Dyer, Bernice Vaught, Mary Beeler along with several nieces, nephews and other family members.
Arlene “Leigh” McFarren-age 63 of Corryton passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 at her home. She was a member of Mountain View Church of God of the Union Assembly, Luttrell. She was an employee of Knox County Sheriff’s Office for the past six years, formerly with T.V.A.
She was a loving wife, mother and nana. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Sophie Holly and Grandma Betty who raised her.
Claude Johnny Cosby, Jr.-age 72 of New Tazewell passed away peacefully Thursday, April 1, 2021 at his home. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Kenya Bree.
Rev. Clarence E. Bull-age 92 of Maynardville passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at his home. Preceded in death by parents, Silas A. and Murlie Burke Bull; brothers, Lloyd Bull, Junior Bull; sisters, Billie Bruner, Edith Pratt and infant sister, Sue Ann Bull; great-grandson, Brayden William Frye; father and mother-in-law, Rev. Fate and Etta Oaks; brother-in-law, L. G. Oaks.
Michael Wayne “Mike” Snelson-age 59 of Maynardville passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at his home. Mike loved fishing, camping and the lake life. Mike was preceded in death by mother, Mary Ruth Snelson; brothers, Rick and Tommy Snelson.
Larry Eugene Norris – age 76 of Andersonville, born June 10, 1944 passed away at U. T. Hospital at 3:30 a.m., March 26, 2021. He was saved at age 12 at Snoddley Baptist Church and joined Macedonia Baptist at age 14.
He is preceded in death by father, Tommy Norris; brother, David Norris; and grandson, Adam Norris. Larry is survived by wife, Dora Johnson Norris; son, Roger Norris; mother, Mable Norris; aunt, Ruby McBee Hutchison; brother-in-law, Gary Johnson; cousin, Yvonne Foust; special friends, Ricky Hutchison and Betty Waggoner; and pets, Oscar and Lily.
Angela Renee Ballard-age 40 of Rutledge went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at U. T. Medical Center. Preceded in death by sister, Christina Lee; nephew, Skylar; father, Richard Ballard, Sr.; grandfather, Bud Givens; grandmother, Naomi Ballard.

Joyce Ann Hamic-age 70 of Washburn passed away Monday afternoon, March 22, 2021 at North Knoxville Medical Center. She was a member of Mountain View Church of God of the Union Assembly. Preceded in death by husband, Randy Hickman; daughter, Kathy Majors; father, Elec Hamic; brother, Buster Hamic.
Charles Ray Hinds-age 63 of Maynardville passed away Monday morning, March 22, 2021 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was a member of Luttrell Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Clovis and Lillian (Savage) Hinds; brothers, Jerry Hinds and Rommie Hinds; grandson, Bentley Dean; nephew, Timothy Noland.
Betty Houser – age 86 of Maynardville, passed away peacefully at home March 22, 2021. She was a member of Alder Springs Church for over 50 years. Betty loved her cats, hummingbirds and all her flowers.
Frank Albert Bailey-age 53 of Maynardville passed away Sunday morning, March 21, 2021 at Claiborne Medical Center. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by parents, James Carson Bailey and Juanita Munsey Cooper; brother, Leonard Bailey.
Survived by brothers and sisters: Eauion (Heavy) Bailey, Linda Collins, Fred (Shorty) Bailey, Kenny Cooper, Darrell Cooper, Jerry Cooper; special niece, Shea Collins; several nieces, nephews and cousins along with a host of friends.
Edgar Queener, Jr.-age 68 of Rogersville passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021 at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen Queener; son, Robert Queener.

Barry Lee Elkins-age 56 of Washburn, Tennessee passed away Friday, March 19, 2021 at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, Barry is survived by his mother, Jane Elkins, father, Wayne Elkins, step mother, Doris Elkins, brother, Mike Elkins and nephew Jamie Elkins. He also is survived by several Aunts, an Uncle and several cousins. He loved his family and was especially proud of his nephew, Jamie. He had a very special place in his heart for him.
David “Ray” Richards, Sr.-age 68 of Knoxville passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at North Knoxville Medical Center. Ray was born September 5, 1952 in Knoxville, the son of the late Franklin Eugene and Bertha Richards. Also preceded in death by his son, David Ray Richards, Jr. He was employed by Ingles and was a retired truck driver.
Marvin “Wayne” Jones – age 54 of Maynardville, passed away at his home on Saturday, March 13, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. He will always be known for the strength and courage he showed while fighting this disease and his heart of gold. The love for his family and friends was never ending. Wayne had a love for baseball, Nascar and music. He loved watching his son, Evan play baseball. The bond they had was indescribable. Wayne graduated from Central High School and went on to graduate from Roane State.
Linda Jackie (Chumley) Caldwell-age 62 of New Tazewell passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at her home. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Cumberland Gap. Preceded in death by husband, Mac Caldwell; parents, Curt and Pansy Chumley; sisters, June Keck, Rose Mary Sheckles, Nancy Irvin, Susie Brantley; brothers, Jerry Chumley, James Luther Chumley.
Don Reid Bridges - passed away peacefully at home March 16, 2021, after a brief battle with cancer. He was born September 22, 1956 to Don Keith Bridges and Patricia Monroe Bridges. He is preceded in death by his father, Don Bridges; and loving grandparents, Garlin and Alva Bridges and Irby and Ruth Monroe. Reid was a gifted craftsman, much like his grandfather, Irby Monroe.
Susan M. Ramaglia, - age 71 of Washburn, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 14, 2021.
She is preceded in death by parents, John and Thelma Ramaglia. Susan is survived by brothers, Richard and John Ramaglia; and sister, Judy Ramaglia all of Washburn.
