Tonya Jean Campbell Brantley

Tonya Campbell Brantley-age 72 of Sharps Chapel went to her heavenly Father Monday, March 16, 2026, with her loving husband and family by her side. Tonya was a compassionate lady whose faith in God never wavered. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a valiant warrior in her battle with cancer. Above all, Tonya cherished time with family, she looked forward to family get togethers, especially weddings. She always gave the bride and groom a family Bible. She wanted to share her love and faith in God. Tonya leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and kindness that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who know and loved her. Preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Campbell; father, Claude Campbell, Sr.; father-in-law, Delona Brantley.

She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Jeffrey Brantley; children, Denise Sims (Jason) of Pikeville, TN, T.J. Cox (Emma) of Knoxville, TN; step-son, Kenneth Brantley (Kristen) of Castle Rock, CO; grandchildren, Caleb Sims and Bethany Sims of Pikeville, TN, Anna Cox, Kristopher Cox, William Cox of Knoxville, TN; step-grandchildren, Camden and Sadie Brantley of Castle Rock, CO; brother, Claude Campbell, Jr. (Norma) of Goose Creek, SC; sister and caregiver, Debbie Campbell of Oliver Springs, TN; mother-in-law, Betty Sue Mullins; sisters-in-law, Yhona Jones of Lenoir City, TN, Terry Stewart (Bob) of Maryville, TN, Beth Stewart (Robert) of Knoxville, TN; brother-in-law, Ricky Brantley of Knoxville and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the life that was lived and the love that was shared. The memory of Tonya will remain a blessing to all who knew her.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, March 19, 2026, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel with funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm Thursday, Rev. Greg Sharp officiating with music by Tuesday Reynolds. Interment service 11 am Friday, March 20, 2026, Oak Grove Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Pallbearers: Brian Anderson, Robert Stewart, Bob Stewart, Lonnie Monroe, Will Brantley, Taylor Stewart. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Union County Historical Society and Union County Museum and Genealogical Society. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville.
