Ona Smith Brady, age 97, passed away July 7, 2017. She professed faith in Jesus Christ at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in 1933 and remained a member there until 1974 when she became a charter member of Unity Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by husband of 71 years Bruce Brady; parents William C. Smith and Elizabeth Cox Smith; sisters, Geneva and Augusta Smith and Lena McCloud; brothers Roger, Carson, Clyde, and Ralph Smith; children Bruce Brady, Jr. and daughter, Florence Brady. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law Margie and Jack Berney; granddaughters Jackie and husband Ronnie Horner and Lori and husband Joe Norris; great-grandchildren Joshua (Jessica) Norris, Jennifer (Floyd) Archer, Rachael (Randel) Holt, Jessica (Jacob) Hayes, Elisha Norris, and April Horner; six great-great-grandchildren and many friends and loved ones.
