In loving memory of Lillie Mae Atkins-age 87 of Luttrell, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 3, 2026. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She had worked for Hillcrest Nursing Home for 20 years, then retired to take care of the grandkids. She had 6 kids of her own, 12 grandkids, 24 great grandkids, and 4 great great grandkids. Preceded in death by her late husband of 62 years, William “Bill” Atkins; grandson, Bobby Atkins; son, George Atkins; father, Emp Wyrick; mother, Bessie Wyrick; grandson, Dustin Brown; siblings, twin brother, Sonny Wyrick, Elizabeth (Wyrick) Powell, Billy Wyrick, Jessie Faye (Wyrick) Hensley, Bunt Wyrick.

She is survived by her children, William "Doodle" Atkins and wife Robin Atkins, Ricky Atkins and wife Debbie Atkins, Terry Atkins and wife Mary Atkins, Tammy Brown, Bobby Atkins and wife Melinda Atkins; sister, Margie Brooks; brothers, Ray Wyrick and David Wyrick.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2026, with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Gary Beeler officiating with music by Tammy Beeler. Interment 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2026, Community Cemetery, Luttrell. Family and friends will meet 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home to travel with the funeral procession. Pallbearers: William "Doodle" Atkins, Ricky Atkins, Terry Atkins, Jordan Atkins, Tammy Brown, Nathan Atkins. Honorary pallbearers: Bobby Atkins and Chris Atkins.
