Judy Anderson Ramey

Judy Anderson Ramey age 79 of Corryton, previously of Luttrell for many years, went home to be with Jesus suddenly on August 14 2025 surrounded by her family at UT medical center.

Judy was a long time and faithful member of Fellowship Christian Church and was the piano player for over 20 years. She was a graduate of Lake City High School Class of 1963. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them whether it was going out to eat or sitting and watching her favorite show. Judy was the most loving mother and grandmother/great grandmother and always put her family first. Judy wants to be remembered as a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, and sister; but most importantly a Christian who loved her savior.

Judy is preceded in death by her husband and father of their children, Paul Anderson; husband of 11 years, Glen Ramey; parents, Leo and Rubye Hatmaker; granddaughter, Elizabeth Jenkins; brothers, Gary and Randall Hatmaker; sisters-in-law, Pam and Susan Hatmaker; special aunts, Helen and Mary Rhea.

Judy is survived by her children, Melinda Taylor (Jimmy Spears), Stephen “Bo” Anderson, Brian Anderson (Renea); grandchildren, Derek Washam (Jasmine), Curtis Presnell, Leah Taylor, Brooke Ogan (Joe), Tyler Anderson; a host of great grandchildren; brother, Jerry Hatmaker; sister-in-law, Kathy Hatmaker; uncle, Floyd “Nig” Hatmaker; special friend, Jean Taylor.

The family would like to thank Amedisys Home health specifically Luke James and Evan Burchell and special caregivers Joan Bates, Carla Bates, Becca Wilkenson, and Donna Russell for the love and care that has been provided to Judy in the last little while.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Fellowship Christian Church in Luttrell, Rev, James Russell and Brother Archie Wilson officiating, music by Brenda Beeler. Interment will immediately follow funeral service at Pleasant View Cemetery in Maynardville. Pallbearers will be Tyler Anderson, Henley Washam, Derek Washam, Joe Ogan, Dennis Hatmaker, Brent LuAllen, Curtis Presnell. Honorary pallbearers will be Trynden Taylor, Torbett Norwood. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville.
