Brodie Carmon Hickman-age 78 of Luttrell, born February 14, 1948, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2026. God truly blessed us with Brodie as a son, husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was loved with our whole hearts, and he loved us with all of his. He was a strong and honorable man that knew the Lord. Brodie was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Preceded in death by his parents, Hyram Joe and Emma Ilean Hickman; siblings, Kenny, Avis, Lara dean, Randy, David, Bonnie Ruth.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Hickman; children, Brodie Jr. and Theresa Hickman, Jeff and Kim Hickman, Jerry Hickman, Laura and Gary England; grandchildren, Brodie Hickman III, Ashley and Lance Thomas, Adam and Lindsey Hickman, Brian and Tessa Hickman, Michael Hickman, Angel and Cody Holt, Thomas and Chandra Hickman, Keisha Hickman, Justin Hickman, Casey and Haley England; step granddaughter, Brittany Coleman; 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Patti Wallace and Joann Wolfe and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2026, with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Brian Hickman and Rev. Jason Dyer officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2026, Dyer Cemetery, Powder Springs, with military honors presented by Tri County Veterans Honor Guard. Family and friends will meet 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home to travel with the funeral procession.
