Gardeners from across Tennessee are invited to attend the annual Fall Gardeners' Festival 2026 on Tuesday, August 25, at the UT Plateau AgResearch and Education Center in Crossville. The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. CDT and offers a full day of educational programming, gardening demonstrations, exhibits, and opportunities to learn from experts from across the state.

The festival is designed for gardeners of all experience levels, from those just getting started to seasoned enthusiasts looking for new ideas and research-based information. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit educational exhibits, interact with vendors, participate in Ask-the-Expert sessions, and enjoy guided wagon tours of the research facility. Food will also be available for purchase throughout the day.

This year's program features a wide range of gardening topics, including attracting butterflies to the landscape, succession planting for continuous blooms, creative uses for culinary herbs, gardening with conifers, home hydroponics, garden pest control, and managing diseases in home fruit and vegetable gardens. Additional presentations will address Tennessee lawn alternatives, fruit tree pruning, native landscapes, tree care, beekeeping, and vegetable nutrition.

The event will be held at the UT Plateau AgResearch and Education Center, located at 320 Experiment Station Road in Crossville. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., and participants are encouraged to pre-register online for faster check-in.
