Union County Community Fund Awards $1,500 in Grants
The Union County Community Fund (UCCF), an affiliate fund of the East Tennessee Foundation (ETF), announced its distribution of $1,500 in grants to three organizations serving the citizens of Union County.
The three grants awarded support a range of projects enhancing the quality of life in Union County. The 2025 grant recipients are:
- Union County Humane Society – General Expenses
- Second Harvest Food Bank – Food for Kids Program
- Union County Senior Center – Food Pantry
“The Union County Community Fund is uniquely positioned to know the pressing needs in Union County and is helping the East Tennessee Foundation ensure the grants are promoting these areas in meaningful ways,” said Keith Barber, President & CEO of the East Tennessee Foundation. “ETF appreciates UCCFs local leadership and ongoing commitment to fostering impactful change in this community. We are thrilled to collectively advance and celebrate the important work of these local nonprofits.”
“We intentionally spread the money to as wide a variety of needs as possible. With grants going for children, senior adults as well as pets, we feel these grants will result in the continuation of very successful programs for the community,” said David Myers, UCCF Chair. “We are proud to partner with the East Tennessee Foundation to help donors maximize their positive impact and support local organizations making Union County a better place to live, work, and visit.”
