Union County 4-H member Hadley Headrick represented the county well at the Hamblen County Sheep Show held on July 11 at the Walters State Expo Center.

Hadley competed in the Southdown breeding sheep show, exhibiting two breeding-age ewes. In addition to her success in the show ring, she demonstrated her livestock knowledge by earning 2nd place in the Sheep Skillathon among 12 competitors. She also received 2nd place honors in the Junior Division, making it a successful day of competition.

These accomplishments reflect Hadley's dedication, hard work, and commitment to learning about the sheep industry. Union County 4-H is proud of her efforts and congratulates her on an outstanding performance.

Union County 4-H also extends a heartfelt thank you to Mr. Morgan for investing in the youth of our community. Through his guidance, he has taught young exhibitors valuable sheep showmanship skills while providing them the opportunity to lease and care for his sheep. His generosity, knowledge, and encouragement have given local youth meaningful hands-on experiences that will benefit them for years to come. We are sincerely grateful for his continued support of the Union County 4-H Sheep Project.
