The UCHS Tennis Team delivered an outstanding performance at the District Tennis Tournament in May of 2026. Jaxon Bailey and Max Corum took second place. In the final district match, Bailey and Corum fought hard but lost the first set to #1 Seymour who posted a 6-4 win. In the second set they rallied to overpower Seymour 6-4. Finally, UCHS forced Seymour to a tie-breaker but ultimately lost 8-10.

But second place in the District sent Bailey and Corum to the Region Tournament in Pigeon Forge as a #2 seed. In the semi-final match against #1 seed University High, they ultimately lost.

The UCHS Tennis Team displayed exemplary performance on and off the court. The Boys Team posted a 3.8 GPA while girls marked a 3.6. Every member is a distinguished TSSAA Scholar Athlete.
