Sponsoring Veterans Breakfasts
For too long, many of our veterans have been overlooked or forgotten. We all benefit from the freedoms protected and preserved by those who served in our armed forces. They gave selflessly of their time, knowledge, and strength, and now it is our turn to honor and support them and their families.
Sponsoring an American Legion Post 212 breakfast for Veterans is more than just a marketing opportunity - it is a profound commitment to honoring the service and sacrifice of the nation's heroes. For businesses, organizations, families, clubs, and individuals, this type of sponsorship builds goodwill, demonstrates social responsibility, and directly impacts the lives of veterans and their families.
The United Veterans Council of East Tennessee Free Breakfast Project currently provides breakfast at 17 locations per month across East Tennessee. These breakfasts not only furnish a hot meal but also fellowship, friendship, and help in reducing isolation. The gathering also provides a platform to inform Veterans of services available through local organizations and the Veterans Administration.
All breakfasts are sponsored by businesses, clubs, or individuals. The cost to sponsor a breakfast is $400. If interested in participating, please contact Adjutant Norman Gillen at Adjutant@ALTNpost212.org
And the American Legion Post 212 would like to thank the City of Luttrell and the UCHS JROTC for underwriting previous breakfasts! Sponsoring a Veteran event is a powerful way to turn gratitude into action.
